Dear dog owner who finally got your calm dog back,
Maybe you didn't notice the exact day it happened.
There was a storm last month. You braced for it the way you always do: towels by the back door, treats in your pocket, the TV turned up, the bathroom door left open so he could hide behind the toilet again.
And he slept through it.
You stood in the hallway at 2 a.m. listening to the thunder roll over the house, and your dog was snoring on the rug.
Then there was the walk past the fence where the neighbor's German Shepherd lunges, on the stretch of sidewalk where you used to cross the road early or turn around altogether. This time your dog looked over, sniffed the grass and kept walking. You actually laughed out loud.
And the doorbell. For years the doorbell meant five minutes of chaos: barking, whining, spinning, scrabbling at the door, you apologizing to a delivery driver through a gap you could barely hold open. Last week a package arrived and your dog lifted his head, thought about it and put it back down.
You didn't post about it, and you didn't tell many people. Part of you was scared that saying it out loud would break it.
But you know what you're living with now. Calm days. The ordinary kind you used to think every other dog owner had.
And if you got there with a full-spectrum CBD oil in your dog's food bowl every morning, I need to tell you about a date on the calendar that could take that bottle off the shelf.
December 11, 2026.
That goes for you whichever brand of full-spectrum oil is in your cupboard. And if your dog isn't there yet and you're still weighing up full-spectrum CBD, this date matters to you too, because it may decide whether you get to try it at all.
I want you to read this letter all the way through, because the fix is simple. You have until December 11, and orders take up to 5 business days to ship.
I'm a Cambridge-trained veterinarian (MA VetMB, MRCVS).
I formulated Happy-Furever®, the full-spectrum CBD oil from PawOrigins®, a brand more than 50,000 pet parents have trusted.
I've worked with hundreds of dog parents, and I have one rule I repeat more than any other:
"As with all things natural, it takes time for your dog's body to fully absorb its benefits. The last thing you want is to give up too soon. Having worked with hundreds of dog parents, the ones that see lasting breakthroughs are the ones that stick to the plan consistently…"
That's how calm days are built: the same oil, every single day.
Which is exactly why one line in the new federal definition of hemp worries me more than anything else this year.

In November 2025, inside the FY2026 Agriculture appropriations act, Congress rewrote the federal definition of hemp (Public Law 119-37, Section 781). It was signed on November 12, 2025.
Under the new definition, a finished hemp product is capped at 0.4 milligrams of total THC per container.
Per container. The whole bottle, whatever dose your dog takes in a day.
When I learned what that line says, I did the math straight away, and I thought about Happy-Furever, the full-spectrum oil I formulated for dogs. Full-spectrum means the hemp plant's whole profile is left in, including its natural trace of THC, and the new cap counts every trace across the entire bottle.
Trade press and lawyers who've read the same text say the cap catches most full-spectrum CBD products, including non-intoxicating pet products.
Any bottle over that cap no longer counts as hemp under the new definition.
The start date was originally November 12, 2026. A short-term funding bill signed on September 2, 2026 (H.R. 6500) pushed it back.
To December 11, 2026.
I thought about the owners who write to us.
Owners like Elaine W., who told us this:
“I was on the verge of giving up and surrendering my rehomed dog. I started to see a difference in my dogs anxiety after the first bottle.”
Elaine W.
She was on the verge of surrendering her dog, and then came the first bottle.
I thought about Julie H., whose rescue Tea is in the reviews below, and who wrote: "I will never stop using it for him!"
Never. She meant it. And a rule written in Washington could make that choice for her.
The rule doesn't ask how far your dog has come.
It doesn't ask about the storms he now sleeps through.
It doesn't know about the walk past the neighbor's fence.
It counts milligrams in a bottle, and nothing else.
Think about how long it took your own dog to get to calm. Think about your own road there.

The "wait and see" months: You told yourself he'd grow out of it. He didn't. You started planning your walks, your visitors and your evenings around his fear.
The other oils: You may have tried a CBD product or two that did very little. Erin H. described a road a lot of you will recognize: "I tried medications, & several CBD formulas as our dog became afraid of fireworks the older he got. Happy-Furever CBD oil has been the only thing that has actually let him relax."
The sedative: Maybe you went to the vet before the Fourth of July and came home with something stronger. Owners describe the result in their own words: their dog got through the night, but he was "knocked out," a "zombie" version of the dog they love.
The plan you almost made: And some of you, like Elaine, came closer than you'll ever admit to a phone call to the shelter.
Then you found the routine that worked. Drops on breakfast, every day, and week by week the dog you knew was back.
That's what is at stake on December 11.
So I made a decision.
I wasn't going to let a rule aimed at THC gummies take calm days away from dogs who'd fought this hard for them. Not without every owner knowing exactly what the rule says, and exactly what they can still do about it.
Read the Congressional Research Service summary and the legal briefings, and one fact matters more to you than any other.
What almost nobody is telling dog owners:
The new rule restricts the sale of these products, and the bottles you've already bought stay yours.
Nobody comes to collect them. You can keep using them on your dog's breakfast the way you do today.
And the bottles shipping right now carry a 2028 expiry date, printed on every bottle. When yours arrives, check the date on your label.
So the answer was sitting in plain sight. If you stock up on the oil that already works for your dog before the rule starts, your dog's routine doesn't have to change on December 11.

Let me explain why that routine is so worth protecting.

Think of your dog's stress response like a smoke alarm.
A good smoke alarm goes off when there's a fire. A badly set one goes off for burnt toast, for steam from the shower, for a car door slamming three houses down.
A fearful or reactive dog can live with an alarm that seems set far too sensitive. Thunder, a stranger's hat, the doorbell, a skateboard: the alarm screams, and it keeps screaming long after the "threat" has gone.
Every dog has a built-in system whose job is to reach up and switch that alarm off. It's called the endocannabinoid system, or ECS. It's the body's own calming network.
Full-spectrum CBD supports the ECS, the system that tells the alarm to switch off. Calm without sedation: still your dog, just settled.
And full-spectrum matters. A full-spectrum oil carries CBD plus the hemp plant's other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids, all working together. This is what people mean by the "entourage effect."
To fit under 0.4 milligrams of total THC in a whole bottle, a product has to take the THC out. Once that's done, it can no longer be the same full-spectrum formula. A product built that way may be a CBD isolate or a "broad-spectrum" oil. Whatever its label says, the bottle holds something different from what your dog takes now.
So here is the risk I want every owner to see clearly. I call it The Calm Gap.
The Calm Gap is the stretch between the day your dog's routine stops and the day you find something to replace it. It's an owner's risk, measured in weeks of searching and guessing, back at week one with a product your dog has never had.
When a dog falls into The Calm Gap, three things happen to the owner at once:
You don't want to spend the winter testing replacements on your dog. You've done the hard part already, and The Calm Gap is entirely avoidable if you plan for it now.

Remember the dog asleep through the storm?
Keeping him there takes about two minutes and a calculator.
The math, straight from the label dose.
Happy-Furever's label dose is 0.5mg of CBD per pound of body weight per day. That's 0.025ml per pound. A 10 lb dog takes 0.25ml. A 62 lb dog takes about 1.55ml.
Each bottle holds 1,000mg of full-spectrum CBD. So one bottle lasts about 2,000 divided by your dog's weight in pounds, in days, at the full label dose.
A 20 lb dog gets about 100 days from a bottle. A 40 lb dog, about 50. A 60 lb dog, about 33. A 100 lb dog, about 20.
Now the bottle count. To cover December 11, 2026 right through December 31, 2027 (386 days), multiply your dog's weight in pounds by 0.193.
The rough version: small dogs up to about 15 lb need around 3 bottles. Mid-size dogs around 30 lb need around 6. Big dogs around 60 lb need around 12. Giant breeds need 12 and then some.
These numbers assume the full daily label dose, every single day. Plenty of dogs settle on less, so your dog's actual use may be lower. Count from what you're really giving.
Two numbers and you're done: your dog's weight and 0.193.
That's the whole plan.
So how did a dog's calming oil end up in the same net as a gas-station THC gummy?
The 2018 Farm Bill made hemp legal as long as it stayed under 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight. Some sellers used that wording to sell intoxicating THC gummies and drinks. People called it the "hemp loophole."
The new definition was written to close that loophole. Fair enough. Nobody wants intoxicating candy sold as hemp.
But the wording is broad. It counts total THC, and it caps the whole container. Trade press and lawyers say that sweeps up most full-spectrum CBD products, non-intoxicating pet products included.
One trade publication, Nutritional Outlook, went as far as saying the cap "could effectively remove ~95% of today's market."

After December 11, a CBD product sold as hemp has to fit under that cap. Some of those products may be decent, and none of them is the formula your dog is used to.
I don't want your dog to be switched without you choosing it.
A lot of owners ask me this the moment they hear about the cap, so let me answer it plainly.
Happy-Furever is full-spectrum, and it's under 0.3% THC. That's the long-standing hemp standard this country has used since 2018, and the oil is made for dogs, by a vet, to the label dose above.
The new cap is about how much total THC sits in one container. It's a limit on total THC per container, written with intoxicating gummies and drinks in mind, and it changes nothing about the drops your dog takes today.
As always, if your dog has a health condition or takes other medication, check with your own vet before starting anything new.
Here is where things stand in Washington today.
Congress could still change this rule. Several bills that would regulate hemp products instead are in play: one from Rep. Andy Barr, one from Reps. Van Duyne and Landsman, one from Rep. Comer, and a Senate companion expected from Sens. Sheehy and Klobuchar. Even the White House has pressed Congress to revisit the rule for full-spectrum CBD.
Pulling the other way, 35 state attorneys general have asked Congress not to reverse it. And the White House legislative director reportedly said there would be no extension past December 11.
As I write this, no fix has passed.
Some states also have their own hemp rules running on separate timelines, including Ohio, Texas and Illinois. Illinois' rule takes effect November 12, 2026.
So can I promise you Happy-Furever will disappear on December 11? No. Nobody honest can promise that.
What I can tell you is that, after December 11, full-spectrum CBD like Happy-Furever may no longer be available to buy. And I would much rather you have bottles in the cupboard you never needed than an empty cupboard and a search for something new in the middle of storm season.
Betting your dog's calm days on a vote that hasn't happened is a bet I won't make with any dog I care about.

It's called Happy-Furever® Full-Spectrum CBD Oil, made by PawOrigins®.
If your dog already takes it, you know it. If your dog is on a different full-spectrum oil, ask whether that brand has told you what it plans for December 11. If a switch is coming either way, make it now, while you have weeks to settle in at half the dose, instead of on December 12 at an emptier shelf.
✓ 1,000mg FULL-SPECTRUM CBD PER BOTTLE. CBD plus the hemp plant's other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids, the full profile, in every bottle shipping now. Under 0.3% THC, the current pre-December 11 standard.
✓ USA-GROWN HEMP, CO2-EXTRACTED, carried in MCT oil from coconut.
✓ NATURAL PLANT-BASED BACON FLAVOR, also suitable for dogs with pork allergies.
✓ MADE IN THE USA IN A CGMP-CERTIFIED FACILITY. Third-party lab tested for strength and purity. Non-GMO. No artificial colors or flavors.
✓ VET-FORMULATED. I formulated it myself, for dogs whose stress alarm goes off too easily.
It supports the ECS, your dog's own calming system, so the alarm can switch off.
No tablets to hide in cheese.
Just drops on breakfast, the same way every day.
Drop it on food, straight into the mouth after a meal, or rub it on the gums.
If your dog's fear or reactivity is new or came on suddenly, please see your own vet first. Sudden behavior changes can have a medical cause that needs looking at.
When you stock up now, the next year looks like this.
Today: Count Your Bottles
Weight × 0.193. Take two minutes with the list above and settle on your number. If you're between bundle sizes, the bigger bundle covers you longer.
1 to 5 Business Days: Your Bottles Ship
Orders ship within 1 to 5 business days with tracked shipping from the USA. Keep them sealed somewhere cool and dark, and carry on with your mornings exactly as before, with the same oil and the same bacon smell your dog already waits for.
December 11, 2026: The Rule Starts
Full-spectrum oils may start disappearing from sale, and owners who didn't plan start searching.
And in your house? Breakfast happens as normal.
Through 2027: The Routine Holds
Thunderstorm season, the Fourth of July, New Year's Eve, every doorbell and every walk past the neighbor's fence: your dog meets every one of them on the same daily routine he has now, and you never step into The Calm Gap.
Then: Check Your Label
Look for the 2028 expiry date printed on each bottle as it goes into the cupboard.
And if your dog is new to Happy-Furever? Start with half the label dose and increase over the first week. Give it time and keep it daily. The owners who stick with it are the ones who see the results.

Happy-Furever holds a 4.8★ average from 784 verified reviews, and 95% of them rate it 4 or 5 stars. PawOrigins® is rated 4.7 on Trustpilot from more than 500 reviews, and has been trusted by more than 50,000 pet parents.
The reviews I care about most right now come from owners whose dogs have found a routine that works. These are the owners with the most to lose on December 11.
Read what real owners are saying:
“… Happy forever has helped him tremendously. … he can walk past people without any reaction. I will never stop using it for him!”
Julie H.
“I was on the verge of giving up and surrendering my rehomed dog. I started to see a difference in my dogs anxiety after the first bottle.”
Elaine W.
“It doesn't make him tired. It doesn't make him drugged. … Within a few days, I noticed a difference with his calming himself down.”
Katherine T.
“This has helped my low-arousal threshold dog tremendously. Not only has it greatly decreased her reactivity, but it has also helped with thunderstorms. I have been using it since I adopted her at 9 months in 2024.”
Christine D.
“I noticed a difference within a week and now over these last two months, he's turned into a calm boy who loves to snuggle and nap.”
Elizabeth B.
“Adding this into my GSD's daily routine has been a game changer for his anxiety!… When I first started him on it, it was during the 4th of July and my pup was super calm and not scared.”
Liza S.
“As my dog has aged, her anxiety over loud noises has increased. Lightning and thunder send her quaking, looking for a quiet, dark place to hide… A dose will calm her enough to relax and sleep through storms, which means my sleep has improved as well.”
Nichole B.
“Brody was a very reactive dog is our small neighborhood… We have noticed a big change on our walks.”
Caron L.
Read Julie's line again. "I will never stop using it for him!"
The point of this letter is to make sure she doesn't have to.

Let me show you what The Calm Gap really costs a dog owner after December 11.
The "Find Something Else" Route:
You buy a replacement you've never used, chosen from whatever is still on the shelf, with a different formula from the one your dog knows. You start at a low dose, build up over a week or more, and watch your dog for weeks to see how he takes to it. If you're not happy, you buy the next one and start again.
Total: weeks or months of guessing, with your dog as the experiment.
The Sedative Route:
A vet visit before the next big storm or fireworks night. A prescription. A dog who gets through the night but is, in the words owners use, "knocked out." Then the same appointment again before the next one.
Total: a vet visit before every storm or fireworks night, and the "knocked out" night owners describe.
The "Wait and Hope" Route:
You do nothing, hope Congress acts, and find out on December 11 whether it did. If it didn't, you're shopping alongside every other owner who waited.
Total: a coin flip on your dog's calm days.
The Start-Over Route:
Storm season and fireworks night arrive while you're still on week one of something new, with no idea yet how your dog will take to it.
Total: the one cost I can't put a number on: starting over, at the worst time of year to do it.
Now compare that to the stock-up route.
The same oil your dog already takes. Bought once, before December 11. Delivered to your door. Used exactly the way you use it now, with a 2028 expiry date printed on every bottle.
No guessing, and no new formula.
And when you stock up through this page, you get something back for doing it.

You want to know why we're doing this?
Because a rule aimed at intoxicating THC candy could take full-spectrum calming oil off the shelf for the dogs whose owners rely on it, and I'm not willing to let owners find that out on December 12.
My response?
30% cashback on every order through this page, whichever bundle you choose: 1, 3 or 6 bottles.
After you order, you'll get an email to claim it. 30% of what you spent comes back to you as PawOrigins® store credit for your next order, with no minimum spend, or you can take 20% as actual cash.*
I want the owner of a 60 lb dog who needs 12 bottles to stock up without wincing. I want every dog who has finally found his calm to keep it.
Run your own number. A 30 lb dog needs about 6 bottles to reach the end of 2027. A 60 lb dog takes about 12 to get there. Whatever your number is, 30% of that order comes back to you,* and the oil in the box is the one your dog already takes, delivered to your door.
You've been sold to before. You've probably bought pet products that promised the world and delivered a smelly bottle you threw out half full. And now here's a vet telling you to buy a year's worth of something at once.
I'd be skeptical too.
So here's my promise:
Every bottle is covered by our Money-Back Guarantee.
If Happy-Furever isn't right for your dog, contact our US-based support team and we'll make it right with a refund.
Why am I comfortable putting that in writing?
Because 95% of 784 verified reviewers rated it 4 or 5 stars, and Julie H. wrote that she'll never stop using it. And if you're already using it, you know what it does for your dog better than I do.
Stock up. Use it the way you do now, every day.
Every order, one bottle or a cupboardful, is covered by our Money-Back Guarantee.
That's the promise. The only thing I can't guarantee is that you'll be able to buy it after December 11.
December 11, 2026 is a real date. It's written into federal law. I didn't make it up to sell oil, and I can't move it.
After that date, full-spectrum CBD like Happy-Furever may no longer be available to buy. Anything shipped and in your hands before then is yours to keep.
Get your order in well ahead of December 11. Orders ship within 1 to 5 business days, so order by December 1 to be safe. If your state has its own earlier date (Illinois' starts November 12), order sooner still.
And this batch won't last. Stock at this price is limited, and when it sells through, that's the end of it.
If you're reading this, bottles are still available.
I can't promise they'll still be here when the rush starts.
Every week you wait is another week where:
And all of that can be settled tonight, in about two minutes, for the price of the oil you'd be buying anyway.

Right now, you're at a fork in the road.
Path #1: Wait and See
Use up the bottle you have. Hope Congress fixes it. And if it doesn't, start December 12 at a store shelf of unfamiliar boxes, back at week one with a formula your dog has never tried.
Keep your fingers crossed through storm season and New Year's Eve.
Path #2: Protect What Already Works
Spend two minutes counting bottles. Order once, and get 30% back. Keep your dog on the exact oil that got him here, through all of 2027, with the 2028 date on every label.
And when the next storm rolls over your roof, listen for the snoring on the rug.
The choice seems pretty clear to me.
1. Click the button below that says "Choose My Bundle & Claim 30% Cashback"
2. Pick your bundle. Weight × 0.193 gives you your number for the next year. (Pro tip: if you have two dogs, add their weights together before you multiply.)
3. Enter your shipping info. Tracked shipping from the USA.
4. Watch for your box. Orders ship within 1 to 5 business days.
5. Put them in the cupboard and carry on. Then breakfast carries on the way it does now. Check the date on your label.
But please don't close this page planning to come back to it in December.
December is when everyone else sorts it out. By then, this batch may already be gone.
Your dog has spent a long time getting to calm.

P.P.S. Not sure how many to get? Multiply your dog's weight in pounds by 0.193. That covers December 11, 2026 through the end of 2027 at the full label dose, and your dog may well use less. Each bottle in this batch has a 2028 expiry date printed on its label.
